Cultural Camp – Murrayfield Bruny Island

Youth Mob

Murrayfield Camp, Bruny Island

Pack your gear, join an Aboriginal Elder, explore country, learn to weave, dive for seafood, explore Truganini’s country and much more.

The Shearer’s Quarters at Murrayfield are booked. Murrayfield has over 500 cultural sites and was originally the home of Truganini and her people the Nuennonne. Murrayfiled is a sheep station and recently independent control was given to local Aboriginal group Weetapoona Aboriginal Corporation

Youth Mob members need to bring all camping gear (e.g. sleeping bag/pillow, plate/bowl, cutlery/cup, including wetsuits/bathers/towel, sunhat/beanie and appropriate clothing). Elder Uncle Rodney Dillon will host us on his lands for the camp.
